Our highly successful client is seeking a Head of Change Management to lead, manage and deploy Change Management policies and procedures across their diverse, extensive and growing customer base. Responsibilities: To be responsible for the Change Management function by leading the Change Management team. To engage with all customers to build good business relationships and instil trust and confidence in our client’s ability to affect change within customers’ estates by minimising the risk of change to our client base. To assist the Change Management team members by providing training, mentoring and ongoing personal development. To strategise and tactically coordinate a rapid, effective and robust functioning of Change Management activities. To develop improved Change policies and to integrate within existing ITIL governances in order to surpass customers’ expectations. To ensure that all Requests For Changes are managed effectively and within set procedures; that they are recorded, tested, approved and implemented and all results recorded. To communicate change policies to the customer and to reject requests for change should a negative result be envisaged. To fully document and provide full reporting – to customers and all internal stakeholders and to report in advance pre-planned and agreed changes. To engage with customer management, service delivery, vendors and 3rd parties regarding performance against service level agreements. To lead all major Change Advisory Board meetings. Skills and Experience: Experience gained in a similar role Proven strategic and tactical Change Management experience. Understanding of risk management. Excellent and self-evident people management / leadership skills. Well-developed communication skills with the ability to deal effectively at all levels of contact – both internally and externally. Knowledge of service desk ticketing systems e.g. ServiceNow, Remedy, Assyst etc. Extensive knowledge/understanding of service level agreements and their application.
