Our Derby based client are looking for a temporary Customer Service Dispatcher to join their busy office. To work on the SAP system to build, plan and dispatch jobs to both gang and field technicians. You will be making and taking direct customer calls and work with both internal and external stakeholders to enable the work to proceed in a timely manner. You will be required to maintain contact with field teams to work for a successful outcome. Take on ad hoc work stream activity and administration duties as required Specific IT system training will be provided Duties: Reactively allocate work including quick and effective issuing of all emergency/high priority work Provide effective and efficient planning of all work for both gangs and field technicians Continually liaise with colleagues, updating them on workload volumes and job progress. Ensure appointments are planned and communicated to customer and field staff within Contract Service Level Agreements Keep customers informed on progress of customer originated work. Ringing customers to advise of changes when appropriate. Minimising customer call chases by keeping customers informed. Deal quickly and effectively with cross complaints to resolve customer issue within specified company standard timescales. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practice through successful problem solving. Deliver an effective and efficient work schedule for all planned and reactive work. To make the best use of resource available and maintain productivity. The successful candidate must have: Essential Computer keyboard skills Customer telephone contact skills Problem solving skills Understanding of mainframe systems used to plan work such as SAP? Full UK Driving Licence Desirable Experience of a utility distribution network operation Experience in a scheduling role or similar An understanding of the New Roads & Street works Act (NRSWA) regarding carrying out works in the street An understanding of the Traffic Management Act (TMA) 45 hour working week Shift patterns will be either 07:00 - 16:30 or 08:00 - 17:30, Monday - Friday Limited weekend working will be required on a rota basis £9,00 per Hour If you believe you will be suitable for this position, please apply directly by sending your up-to-date CV via the link provided.
