National Sales Manager – Poland The Role Your remit will be to lead and direct the sales day to day activities of the Poland business, making business strategy recommendations, and driving the business to a new level of operational excellence, efficiency, effectiveness, growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities · To define the sales strategy for future growth and profitability in the re-seller and end user channels, segmenting the market to quantify the opportunity with a clearly communicated action plan for optimising the opportunity. · To build strong OEM manufacturer relationships that can be leveraged to benefit customers and the margin achieved for the business. · In conjunction with Group and local Pricing Management set pricing strategy and methods for monitoring the market in order to maintain competitive prices positioned correctly against competitors. · To work holistically and hands-on as required in directing the day to day sales management of the business to produce solutions for strategic, technical, commercial, operational, and personnel related challenges that impact on customer service and business performance. · To assume full P&L responsibility for all relationships between the company and its portfolio of customers, ensuring the company sustains market share, achieves return on associated capital investments, and delivers significant profitable growth. · To ensure an emphasis is placed by the team on further developing a high-performing, innovative, and influential customer support function capable of devising bespoke technical solutions to meet customer requirements. · To recruit and maintain a skilled dedicated team who will embrace the company’s core values to maximise the potential of the business through a total commitment to customer service and care. · To carefully consider and predict the growth of the business in order to effectively plan current and future staffing requirements. · To deliver performance management objectives, agreed business plans, budget and targets and report on both plus and minus factors impacting on the business.In essence adopt a “no surprises” approach to reporting and leadership. · To ensure the business remains cost effective, reducing/eliminating unnecessary costs and remains within budget targets, whilst maintaining productivity and quality of service to grow the business in a profitable way.
