ABOUT THE ROLE To assist an experienced team in the delivery of all round Property Management services to a wide range of clients. THE ROLE Operate a full range of property management instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial Our clients are principally large institutional firms (pension funds, insurance companies etc.) and property companies Full management of rental and other income including tenant indebtedness Provide support and assistance to clients in connection with value enhancement opportunities including rent reviews, lettings and lease renewal programs Reporting to and working with clients on tenure and physical improvements to properties which will have positive financial effects Dealing with tenant applications for consent to assign, sublet and alter Arranging and undertaking property inspections Ensuring tenants’ compliance with lease obligations in relation to use and maintenance obligations Preparation and administration of service charge expenditure Overseeing the provision of common services to properties and tenants Ensuring compliance with legislation including Health and Safety and other regulations Assisting clients in the acquisition and disposal of properties Working with landlords and tenants on all other matters relating to the clients’ property portfolio Supervising, directing and maintaining up to date records for site based staff Other ad hoc duties as and when required PERSON SPECIFICATION Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualification in a RICS accredited degree, or a degree in an unrelated subject (minimum of 2:2 predicted or achieved) Passionate about the property industry Positive and can do attitude Excellent communication skills with gravitas amongst clients Team player Ambitious and eager to learn Ability to provide high quality customer service Eager to complete your APC qualification This job was originally posted as
