Job Purpose To manage infrastructure projects with budgets up to £500k. Deliver server, network, telephony and end user computing solutions to Rank customers and staff using a combination of Rank data centre facilities and best of breed IaaS, PaaS and SaaS. To drive the delivery of projects within agreed budget, time and resource constraints. Main Accountabilities and Responsibilitie s Take responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of multiple concurrent projects. Manage compliance with company standards including Service Management, Information Security, Gaming Regulation and Audit & Control. Effectively estimate and manage project expenditure, timescales and resource requirements. Actively manage project issues and risks. Responsible for stakeholder management that communicates plans, priorities, and project status. Provide leadership to onshore and offshore project teams (Analysts, Engineers, Solution Designers, Service Management etc.). Coach and mentor project team members where appropriate. Manage the change control procedure for major changes, gaining agreement for revisions to the production environment from business system owners. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the delivery team by identifying opportunities to improve quality, speed or cost and leading the implementation of the required change. Knowledge, Expertise and Qualifications Technical or other degree (or equivalent) PRINCE2 / APMP / PSP. ITIL preferred Experienced MS Project user. MS Project Server experience desirable. A good understanding of IT Infrastructure in a mainly Microsoft environment. Delivering projects using VMWare, EMC and HP SAN, end user devices including tablets, mobiles and EPOS. Exposure to Cisco networking and MPLS WAN. Comprehensive understanding of recognised project management methodologies Proven ability to manage suppliers and both onshore and offshore delivery teams, ideally within the retail or leisure industries Experience of delivering projects in a multi-channel, multi-site environment. An understanding of the challenges when managing IT related business projects that involve stakeholders and participants from both IT and business team Experience of projects delivering solutions using MS Azure IaaS/PaaS including ExpressRoute networking beneficial Experience of delivering projects using Office365, SalesForce and ServiceNow also beneficial.
