A leading professional services business have an excellent opportunity for an HR Manager to join their business. Reporting in to senior management, the role requires an experienced HR professional to be responsible for all ER matters including disciplinary and grievance; absence management; and learning and development to include the organisation of external training and the delivery of in-house training plans. Furthermore performance management is crucial, supporting employees through probationary and annual review processes, assisting with internal promotions and supporting managers regarding poor performers. All areas of HR strategy and policy, particularly reviewing existing policies and procedures, implementing changes where necessary and aligning HR strategy with business objectives is key. The HR Manager will be responsible for all recruitment activity, providing guidance and support to managers, liaising with agencies and offering remuneration assistance. There are some additional administrative responsibilities to include payroll and pension administration, the implementation of the H&S policy, fire safety and handling property portfolio requirements. The HR Manager should be CIPD qualified or working towards this, have extensive experience in all aspects of generalist HR and managing a HR function previously, be an effective communicator, have excellent attention to detail and have experience working with a professional services environment.
