We are a leading provider of heating and M&E services to Councils and Housing Associations. We are innovative and dynamic and have a well-earned reputation for excellence. We have recently changed the scope for this role and are looking for a trainee graduate with an English degree with a flair for writing. This is a full time role based in our office which is in Kenley Surrey. On offer is 21 days holiday plus bank holidays. OVERALL PURPOSE: To support the Service Director in the preparation and submission of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s) and Tenders by writing compelling and persuasive method statements. You will need to schedule tasks and ensure that our bid library is kept updated and developed. Full training will be given. The successful candidate must have a natural ability to write with fluidity. You will also need to demonstrate that your writing has an element of persuasion. Key duties and responsibilities: Download PQQ/ITT documentation from web portals - save and index them in preparation for the bid-writing process Read, analyse, highlight and extract specific requirements from PQQ/ITT documentation such as specifications, term briefs and related appendices Prepare and review with the Service Director checklists of key PQQ/ITT requirements and client wish-lists to formulate targeted method statement responses Produce, review and edit written responses for PQQ’s and Tenders, including method statements, references, case studies, CV’s and supporting documentation Organise bid timelines and ensure all outputs are prepared on time Complete PQQ/ITT online and written submissions from inception Ensure all tender documentation is presented to a uniformly high standard, editing and proofreading submission method statements and supporting information, as well as coordinating and supporting in the production and finalisation of documents Provide regular feedback and updates to the Service Director Maintain document management systems, ensuring a complete record of the submission is maintained for future review and scrutiny Ensure submissions are prepared in good time to meet deadlines Update, refresh and maintain the company’s Bid Library Key skills / experience / qualifications: Must have an English degree. This role would suit a graduate. Strong IT literacy - confident use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent writing skills - skilled construction and use of headings, signposting, secure grammar Ability to think clearly under pressure Excellent time management, especially fail-safe ability to meet deadlines Ability to multi task.
