Account Manager Hampshire Permanent £40-55K An amazing opportunity to join a well established global corporation, one of the oldest and most notorious in the Defence sector, has arisen for an Account Manager to support the key account management team a permanent basis at their Hampshire location. This role will see you being a trusted advisor to clients, broadening and deepening client relationships whilst developing new lines of business based upon knowledge and expertise. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for: - Account management combined with relationship management in order to guide company strategy and build our reputation and brand. - Support the achievement of order intake targets and profitability targets by managing a pipeline of opportunities. - Ability to focus on building client satisfaction by managing all interactions with the client across the business whilst acting as client champion within the company. - Personal ownership and engagement of proposals, working with and establishing strong relationships with internal stakeholders to pursue opportunities and deliver winning bids. The successful candidate will have experience in: - Sales leadership skills combined with intelligent relationship management, requiring technical breadth. - Proven experience in a similar Defence environment - Strong communicator and an ability to motivate people. High level of energy, natural leadership. - Evidence of demonstrating the ability to delivering against an order target and growing business with client. - Trusted by and possesses exceptional knowledge of client, their missions, organization, culture, senior stakeholders. Positive reputation within the national security domain. - Has a consultancy led sales approach to developing business.
