Due to significant investment in our client’s managed services operation their customer base continues to grow together with ever increasing demand for business critical services and solutions. As a result they are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join them as Head of Problem Management. Responsibilities: To set the strategic direction and forward planning for problem management to achieve our client's corporate aspirations. Ensuring that plans are followed and tactics implemented to achieve strategic goals. To have overall responsibility for the Problem Management team . Examination of potential areas for service improvement and raising of proposals with internal stakeholders. Coordination and promotion of effective problem management activities across all departments and resolvers, our customers and third parties. Recruitment , training , mentoring and development of team members. Review and instigate [where and when appropriate ] changes to support processes to contribute to continuous improvement of problem management. To own and be responsible for Problem Management Service Improvement plan. To be the first point of contact for high level escalations . To work closely with our transition teams when on-boarding -new customers. To design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators in relation to root cause analysis and trend analysis. To report and control the production and analysis of reports to ensure problem management is working effectively and identify any changes that may be necessary. To have regular team meetings and 121's with staff to ensure roles , objectives and targets are understood and team are happy and fully motivated.
