Brief: We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our client’s e-commerce team who are one of the most innovative companies in the vaping industry. As the Social Media Manager you will constantly be monitoring the social media landscape to identify opportunities and to increase the company’s reach and engagement as well as bringing the brand to new audiences. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, your role will be to manage and develop the social media strategies across all platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc. You will be required to implement a strategy that drives volume and engagement of social media users and uses these customers to derive commercial benefit across our retail and digital channels. In addition, you will be overseeing the creation of brand relevant and engaging content to drive brand awareness and increase brand affinity. Responsibilities: Responsible for developing the overarching social media and content strategy Provide functional expertise and lead and manage the social media team Manage, develop and implement content and social media strategy in line with overall marketing strategy, through cross functional working to co-ordinate content across social, PR, blog and SEO. Manage and implement engaging content across all internal and external platforms. Work collaboratively with operational, marketing and product teams to ensure cross-channel integration Work closely with the Head of eCommerce to develop and implement integrated national social media and PR campaigns Build and develop relationships external bloggers, posters and reviewers Carry out ad hoc projects as required by the Head of eCommmerce Manage the social media budget Requirements: 3 year's experience essential Must have experience of developing, leading and implementing a Social Media strategy Understanding of multi-channel environment Experience in using social media management/monitoring and analytics tools. E.g. Google Analytics, Social Insites. Ability to influence and manage key stakeholders A proven social media innovator with a track record of creating and delivering a strategy for a customer-driven business Experience of managing a marketing budget This job was originally posted as
