We are pleased to be working with a Dunstable based business who are recruiting this No. 1 post in HR. Supporting the board of Directors and Operational teams this role carries a great mix of Operational and strategic HR requirements to support key units in the Business and a workforce of almost 400. The role will manage a small team and provide generalist HR guidance to support and contribute to the groups operational/people objectives. Main responsibilities will include: Support the HR and people strategy across a mixed client group Input and control of resourcing and talent planning Offer a full support programme to all Line managers covering all areas of HR requirements across ER, performance, disciplinary Work closely with the ELT to manage high risk and escalations Work with the wider Directorate on organisational development and business change programmes Support the enhancement of Data Analytics across the function The preferred candidate for this role needs to be: Immediately available or on no more than 4 weeks notice Have worked in a Retail/manufacturing/warehousing environment Be able to demonstrate their experience where it's likely you will have a very wide and varied remit historically encompassing all areas of HR. You will be able to evidence you've developed your Partnering and Operational & HR experience across a large client group. Our client is also looking for candidates with instance gravitas, the ability to support ER as needed but also work with the group Directors on business changing/people decisions at senior level. The salary is pitched at C£50k package.
