Exciting opportunity with Yorkshire Water for a System Administrator to join the Continuous Improvement Team in the Asset Management Directorate based in Leeds. The role involves administering a number of IT systems to provide support and technical advice to users. The Asset Management Team consists of Yorkshire Water colleagues, Construction Partners and Consultants working in partnership to deliver the majority of the capital programme for the company. Over a five year period this totals over £1 billion of investment and covers the whole range of water and waste water assets. The role supports the capital programme working with a range of systems. Salary £17, 510.34 to comp £21,888.00 (dependant on experience) attractive pension 25 days annual leave performance related bonus. What will the role involve? As a System Administrator, you will work with a broad range of teams both within Yorkshire Water and with our Construction Partners. You will manage users, permissions and groups within systems and support the Asset Management users with system related queries on a number of cloud based systems including Sharepoint online and other bespoke systems that support the capital programme. With your systems knowledge you will advise on improvements and support the development of new processes. To support users understanding of the systems you will develop a level of expertise to facilitate training sessions. A number of systems are supported or maintained by both internal and external teams and you will manage the interface with those parties. You will also be responsible for maintaining good governance and will lead the auditing and reporting of systems to ensure they remain optimised. What skills are we looking for? You will have knowledge of a range of IT packages including Office 365 and SharePoint online and experience of acting as an administrator on a variety of systems. You will work with a broad range of teams both within Yorkshire Water and with our Construction Partners so good communication skills and a customer service focus is required. You will need to be self-motivated with the ability to organise and manage you own workload. You will work closely with other members of the team and therefore you need to be a good team worker. You will be confident in presenting information to others and have the ability to identify issues and work with others to provide a solution. The ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non technical audiences will be important, as will the ability to design and facilitate systems training sessions. What's in it for you?
