The role of the Sales Manager is to lead a sales team to deliver the sales and margin targets in the product category they are responsible for. The Internal Sales Coordinator will be responsible for dealing with inbound orders, processing quotes and managing delivery expectations. Our client specialises in the import, processing and distribution of Timber products from around the world to offer our customers throughout the UK excellent choice, value, availability and service. Job Description: Develop an agreed strategy for growth within their product category. Ability to manage and develop self and team members. Ability to prepare and present product and/or sector update to the senior sales team. Able to develop product sales and margin by coordination with category managers and product manufacturers. Commercial understanding of market and competitor activity. Product and sector knowledge within the business. Prepared to be mobile to meet training requirements. Working knowledge of Company procedures and organisation. Knowledge of Health & Safety principles. Achieve sales and margin targets for product and/or sector. Set out a plan to visit customers and report monthly on activity. Development of self and team. Delivery of agreed actions achieves the strategy. A growth of customer base. Support the achievement of the internal and external sales and margin targets. Accurate and timely completion of customer requests. Maintaining accurate and current information in the brand's CRM system. Support manager to achieve team objectives, such as sales campaigns.
