Now we need to recruit a talented Training & Communications Officer to join us and help deliver the information security training strategy in our complex, socially responsible business. As an InfoSec Training & Communications Officer at the Co-op, you'll work across all levels and areas of our organisation. We'll look to you to support the delivery of training and awareness products to make sure all our colleagues have the skills they need to manage security risks to our organisation. It's an exciting opportunity to be part of our growing team. The next generation of information security is coming - and we need talented people to make sure we stay ahead of the competition. What you'll do: Support the delivery of training & awareness products, from blogs & briefings to interactive tests Design and deliver training scenarios, plans, tools and technologies Monitor, evaluate and report on your output to guarantee the continued quality and suitability of all aspects of our training Drive colleague participation, and make sure training complies with information security policies To be successful as an InfoSec Training & Communications Officer at the Co-op, you'll need plenty of experience delivering technical learning experiences. You could be a seasoned IT trainer, or an educator who's keen to make a move in to the corporate world. Whatever your background, finding innovative, engaging ways to deliver training will be second nature. And your amazing people skills will help you to build strong, productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. What you'll bring: Experience in managing technical training/learning programmes, and using e-learning platforms Good all-round IT knowledge (ideally with some experience/awareness of information security) Great communication skills, with the ability to influence & inspire all kinds of people The ability to deliver varied, innovative, multi-channel learning experiences that cater for different learning styles and preferences We're going back to being Co-op 172 years ago a group of businessmen in Rochdale created an idea that changed the world.
