Senior Technical Analyst MCSE Server Infrastructure - Application Support - West London Recognised globally as a leading media organisation our client seek a Senior Technical Analyst with a background in server infrastructure and / or SharePoint and Application Support. This role will involve installing, configuring, administering and monitoring. The role To install, configure and support applications to enhance business productivity and to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software and configuration to resolve technical issues. This role spans a number of areas of expertise across a range of Business Applications operating in a predominantly Windows environment. This role is highly user focused supporting a user community across 16 international sites. Main duties: 1. Installing, configuring, administering and monitoring: Exchange Email; Citrix XenApp / Desktop; MDM; SharePoint; Skype for Business; Anti-Virus Tools; Mail Spam and Journaling Tools; SSO & MFA; In-house line of business applications; 2. Troubleshooting, diagnosing and solving software and application issues; 3. Troubleshooting system and inter system network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software issues; 4. Providing support, including procedural documentation and reporting; 5. Maintaining change control records and technical documentation and drawings; 6. Planning and supporting roll-out of new or update applications and systems; 7. Ensure backup, recovery and high availability policies are adhered to; 8. Ensure Application security is maintained and the highest level; 9. Identity Management; 10. Liaising with product vendors; 11. Working as part of a Technical Support and Service Desk team, responding to requests for technical assistance and provide out of hours support when required; Skills Required: 1. High level technical knowledge of Exchange 2013; 2. High level technical knowledge of SharePoint 2013; 3. High level technical knowledge of Skype for Business; 4. High level understanding of backup, recovery, high availability for SharePoint and Exchange; 5. High level technical knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory; 6. Strong technical knowledge of XenApp / Desktop 7.x 7. Solid understanding of computer networking; 8. Solid understanding of SSO and MFA; 9. Solid knowledge of personal computers and associated peripherals; 10. Strong knowledge of documentation tools; 11. Strong inter-personal communication skills; 12. Good knowledge of use of Microsoft Desktop products - Visio, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Experience/Qualifications: 1. Graduate I.T. or equivalent; 2. MCSE Server Infrastructure and/or SharePoint; 3 Experience in an IT support role; 4. Ability to plan, organise and execute concurrent tasks; 5. Ability to work as a member of a small multi skilled support team, supporting end users across 16 international locations; 6. Should have sound communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with management, end user community, third party vendors and support operations; 7. Able to respond within agreed time limits; 8.
