IT Support Engineer £24,000 - £26,000 Solihull Shift Patterns IT Support Engineer Shifts Patterns Apply An IT Support Engineer is required to work within the Information Technology Team for a successful company based in Solihull. The Service Desk Analyst will be required to provide support within a fast paced environment. Within this role the key responsibilities for the IT Support Engineer will be to work with colleagues on the Service Desk to effectively monitor customer systems and network performance, answer incoming calls, process alerts and manage Incidents and Service Requests. Receive escalations from SDA Tier 1 and also escalate effectively to SDA Tier 3 as required to achieve the highest level of customer service. Essential experience required within this role will include Microsoft Windows Operating Systems inc. Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange. Virtualisation (e.g. Vmware, MS Hyper-V, Enterprise Storage (e.g. Netapp, Dell EqualLogic), citrix and some Networking (basic configuration of firewalls, routers and switches). The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and set ambitious targets and expectations for themselves.
