If your answer is 'YES' i have the right job for you My client is looking for experienced and committed Residential Care Workers to join their team in Leeds. The service you would be working at is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has been specifically designed to meet the needs of children of both genders aged between 7 and 11. Duties As part of their team, you will deliver the highest standards of care, protection and support to Children and Young People. You will be responsible for supporting Children and Young People by engaging them in various activities, supporting their education and ensuring that the home is maintained to a good standard which will include housekeeping responsibilities. The role requires a commitment to personal and professional development within the organisational and childcare sector learning and development standards. You will be responsible for engaging Young People in structure activities, supporting them while ensuring that the home is kept to a good standard which will include housekeeping responsibilities. To apply for the job, you must meet the following criteria: Flexibility and availability to work mixed hours including day, evening and weekend hours Resilience to challenging behaviour Proven experience of working with challenging and Autistic young people in a residential setting QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent will be an advantage. Salary & Benefits In return, my client will provide candidates who do not hold relevant qualifications with excellent training and support by their Learning and Development team and will be supported to undertake the Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma.
