We are currently looking to recruit an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate Sous Chef to support the Exec Chef in the running of our client's site based on the South West London/Surrey border. Overseeing an extremely high volume, prestigious site, you as the Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting in kitchen operation ranging from cafes and restaurants to banqueting and events. You will be culinary outstanding with the ability to produce a variety of menus from cafe to high profile fine dining. You will be able to manage a commercial operation and budget as well as manage the large team. To be considered as a candidate, you will - be at Sous Chef level - have experience of a high volume multi site - have commercial experience - have banqueting/events experience as well as be able to produce for cafes and restaurants - be able to manage, train and motivate a large back of house team - be financially astute - be able to produce high quality menus from cafe to bespoke menus - be able to work alongside the development team - be able to demonstrate an excellent eye for detail and presentation The site is open 7 days a week and candidates will be expected to be able to work 5/7.
