We are now looking for a Quality Monitoring Officer to join us in our well established Merseyside branch providing support our Halton and Liverpool areas. Salary, Benefits, Hours and requirements: · Salary £17,000 per annum · Working hours of 37.5 per week · On-call duties · Driver’s license is a must due to the nature of the position · Experience and knowledge in Health and Social Care · Ability and willingness to provide care in the community at short notice · Understanding of MS Office applications as well as able to use in-house systems effectively · Excellent customer service skills both via telephone and in person · Attention to detail is a must in this role to ensure you work towards company policies and procedures, ensuring the quality of care standard is consistent throughout our services. · Interest in the industry and passion for care Duties and responsibilities: · To assist the Manager and Care Co-ordinator in promoting and managing good care practice · Identifying areas in which improvements can be made · To complete all new service user plans and risk assessments, reviewing and updating when necessary · To ensure and monitor professional standards of performance, in accordance with the National Minimum Standards and the Care Quality Commission and to promote a good practice. · To ensure that there is effective communication within the provision of care services. · To work in accordance with delegated responsibilities and to carry out any duties which may be necessary in order to ensure that these company procedures and responsibilities are met. · To carry out spot checks on all employees and report any findings to branch · To support and assist with complaint investigations where applicable · To perform audit checks for performance and compliance including MAR charts, comment books, medication procedures and staff files etc. Successful candidates will need to complete an Enhanced DBS check shortly after being successful at interview the cost of this will be met by the company.
