Job Title Marketing manager Reports To Head of sales and marketing Based in Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne Overall Responsibility The new Marketing Manager will be eager to manage and master every aspect of marketing: content, email, advertising, social, events, tradeshows, and much more. Every goal they set will be measurable ensuring that investment in marketing is driving the sales pipeline. Rolling up their sleeves and writing a blog post, email or website copy will come naturally and they will have the maturity to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and delegate tasks when appropriate. This role requires a strong passion for learning, an independent spirit, and amazing organizational skills. Responsibilities Manage email, advertising and lead generation campaigns Assist in co-marketing activities such as producing case studies, webinars, and videos Contribute to the writing and production of company marketing materials and blogs Support the company's website and social media presence Manage PR activities Help plan and execute field marketing activities, including events and trade shows Create reports that measure marketing KPIs Ensure the in-house CRM system is used effectively The Skills 2 to 5 years in technology marketing and communications B2B enterprise marketing experience Close interactions with sales teams Marketing copy writing (blog posts, website copy, landing pages, emails, press releases) Bachelor's degree or equivalent Meticulous attention to detail Excellent logistical and project management skills (field marketing to include trade shows, events, etc. Experience with CRM tools Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, SEM, Analytics, Inbound Marketing, Marketing Automation, etc. Personality Traits Intrinsic drive to be successful You do not get discouraged at the first sign of adversity; in fact, you are motivated by it You are ready to disrupt traditional thinking and help prospects navigate a transition to a new and better way of doing business Clear, succinct communicator – Using our customer’s language, you’ll help them clearly understand the value that the software delivers Empathetic listener – You’ll listen more than you talk and are able to understand what is communicated not just what is said Enthusiasm to learn and improve and a positive can-do personality Due to the high volume of candidates responding to our adverts we are not always able to provide feedback on your application.
