The role The Linx International Group is looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for implementing the Group's marketing strategy to deliver increased brand awareness and sales. This is both a strategic and hands-on role that will suit an energetic and organised individual looking to own the marketing activity. The Group comprises four companies who are specialists in security training and consultancy. Each company has their own distinct brand and client base. The role of Marketing Manager is fundamental to the success of each company, bringing together the joint and separate activities for an organised, coordinated Group effort. Reporting directly to the Sales and Marketing Director, this is a busy, dynamic role requiring strong organisational and communication skills combined with a creative outlook and ability to work independently. Knowledge of the security/training industry is desired but not essential as training will be provided. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, recruited on a permanent basis. Your responsibilities: Develop detailed market knowledge (including competitor landscape) and use this information to drive business growth Ability to take campaigns from concept to completion Social Media Marketing: Using social media to grow our online presence Email marketing campaign management and coordination Event and Exhibition management: coordinate company presence at key UK and international events Coordinate article submissions for trade media Maintain and develop media partnerships to gain maximum exposure Creation of marketing literature Brand Management across the group Manage and maintain the group’s websites Remain up-to-date with latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness Provide accurate ongoing monitoring of all aspects of campaign effectiveness and KPIs, taking appropriate contingency activity where required. If you are the ideal candidate, you will: Have previous proven experience in a similar role Be highly literate and numerate; ability to devise and edit content for all marketing activities Have strong knowledge of search engine optimisation and advanced Word and Powerpoint skills Hold excellent communication skills Be a team player, with excellent attention to detail, self-motivation and the ability to multitask and work well under pressure Desired but not essential: Have a sound knowledge of HTML/JavaScript What we offer We will provide you the opportunity to work in an important and exciting role, in an open and friendly working environment, with real opportunities for you to develop your career as we grow.
