First Line Support Engineer - Stoke-on-Trent Excellent opportunity for a helpdesk support engineer specialising in first line to join a successful team and business based in Stoke-on-Trent. This role offers great career progression - most of the senior IT staff have progressed from a firt line support role You will be liaising with internal users either remotely or face to face providing support for all software & hardware issues. You must be able to demonstrate a real professionalism in your ability to interpret user needs, gather sufficient information and provide solutions to requests. Requirements Proven commercial experience providing 1st Line Support Good knowledge of Windows O/S, Active Directory/Group Policy Windows Server/Exchange Familiarity with Virtualisation technologies Microsoft certifications highly desirable Ability and desire to take ownership of projects until resolution Excellent problem solving and analysis skills Excellent customer service skills able to interact confidently with both technical and non technical users A good package is on offer for the right candidate.
