Infrastructure Architect - ROLE PROFILE: An Infrastructure Architect is required to join a major global business, to play a lead role in the delivery of programmes in accordance with the infrastructure standards and overall enterprise roadmap. Infrastructure Architect - REQUIREMENTS: In depth technical knowledge of Linux (ideally Redhat) and Microsoft Operating systems In-depth technical knowledge of the following areas: Server technologies (HP C7000 BladeSystem), Virtualization technologies (VMware ESX), Storage Area Networks, Network Attached Storage (EMC/IBM/NetApp), network routing, traffic management & load balancing technologies (Cisco, F5, Stingray ADC's), IPAM & DNS (Infoblox), Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Traditional RDMS (Oracle, Oracle RAC, MS-SQL, MS-SQL AlwaysOn). Extensive experience in building & deploying end-to-end infrastructures to support backoffice functions across multiple DC's. Working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols and standards, including but not limited to: Cisco Networks, MPLS, IP/VPN, IPAM/DNS (Infoblox), WAN Acceleration, Redhat Linux, Windows Server/Active Directory, Citrix XenApp, Collaboration technologies (Confluence, JIRA) and Video Conferencing. A thorough understanding of architectural design principles. BCS (formerly ISEB) Enterprise and Solution Architecture certification, ITIL certification beneficial Infrastructure Architect - SALARY DETAILS Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience.
