We are excited to be working with a major online entertainment business who are looking for a senior marketer to join their team in order to support business growth. They are a household name, widely admired for their brand and their management team of top level talent. As Head of Marketing you will be responsible for creating and executing the global marketing strategy for all brands in a competitive environment. You will establish the brand positioning, marketing activities and product marketing requirements and ensure those are practiced and adhered to. You will be managing the marketing team and the creative department. You will also manage the product operations team to determine the required product features necessary to support the overall proposition to the customer. You will be responsible for acquisition marketing for all brands. As part of this activity you will work with senior management and other label representatives to create an effective collaboration between the operational and marketing activities. You will lead all promotional marketing activities across desktop, mobile, TV, radio, online and affiliates to attract, retain and reactivate profitable customers. You will be responsible for a multi-million pound marketing budget and will need to ensure that the marketing team delivers a positive ROI at gross profit level. You will be expected to optimise marketing investment, prioritise spend in line with marketing strategy and the group’s commercial objectives and to determine the level of investment by channel, platform and market. To execute this activity you will manage the channel marketing team, the affiliate team and liaise with external suppliers, partners and agencies. You will be expected to demonstrate creative thinking in finding new marketing channels and optimising existing methods to achieve better returns. You will develop marketing techniques for new platforms / games in the ever changing environment of online gaming. You will optimise the customer journey to ensure the userflow and product experience is in line with customer expectations and utilises our game and platform offering to the full extent. Primary Responsibilities: •Overseeing acquisition of new customers through global marketing channels in line with budget •Formulating and overseeing delivery of marketing strategy together with tactical plans •Ownership and management of marketing budget •Determining marketing spend by Brand •Definition of product features which support the marketing strategy •Rebranding and repositioning where required in accordance with new tactical plans •Optimizing spend through ongoing control and optimisation of ROI •Regular performance review of all channels and territories and ongoing review of spend allocation to ensure maximum returns in light of net contribution budget •Management of the creative and content teams and ensure delivery of marketing and operational assets on time and within budget •Management of the social media channels •Defining and overseeing multi-channel campaigns and launch plans •Optimising the new player conversion funnel •Overseeing rollout, delivery and success of acquisition promotions for affiliates and partners Knowledge/Expertise/Qualifications: •Experience of marketing and promotions within a B2C business is essential, together with a proven track record that covers marketing activities across multiple channels and territories •Good understanding of customer satisfaction metrics and how to improve customer performance for the business •An inspirational leader who is results-oriented and customer focused and possess strong commercial awareness and analytical skills •Budget management skills •Excellent communication and leadership skills •Ability to formulate and present a business case and business plan to a diverse audience •Experience of working in a global environment across locations, teams and functions in a complex regulatory environment This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/66875870
