Excellent opportunity for internal training role - suitable for ex-recruitment or sales professionals A great opportunity has arisen in the Essex area to join a market leader as a sales training professional. This role requires candidates from either a recruitment or sales background that have the proven skills and experience in developing successful teams and individuals in their every day roles and future careers. Main responsibilities: Training Cycle 1. Training Needs Analysis Working alongside the HR Manager and the Sales Directors (All Divisions) to create and regularly analyse a monthly Sales Disparity Report to identify average and below average performers. o Make monthly recommendations on training interventions to increase sales productivity. o Work closely with the HR Manager to discuss consistent under performance and recommend performance improvement plans where needed. Work alongside the Learning & Development Trainer to ensure sales, behavioural and process related training needs are built into Monthly Training Plans. Development of new tools and methods for Training Needs Analysis such as testing, observations, coaching and meeting with Line Managers on a regular basis to identify and clarify needs. Supporting the development of an L&D strategy through gaining a closer insight into the overall business objectives. 2. Design Writing and implementation of innovative and interactive sales training modules for delivery in monthly training sessions as well as academies. Ensure training material evolves with the business and the industry. Provision of all associated training materials. Discuss and share design ideas with the Learning and Development Trainer to ensure there is a consistent approach. Development of the intranet site to ensure there is a presence of L&D activity. 3. Delivery An equal delivery of both desk side support and classroom based training. Explore and develop new methods of delivery such as E Learning, Action Learning, Self Development etc. 4. Evaluation Maintenance of all employee training records. Implementation of a meaningful evaluation process that can be linked to business results and prove how training efforts add value. Management and provision of monthly evaluation reporting to HR Manager.
