My client is looking for highly motivated, pro-active and sharp Graduates to join their team in Embankment as an Administrator in the Auditing department. Role Details Start: ASAP End: 3 Months(with a view to extension and growing within the business) Pay: £10.70ph Hours: Monday - Friday, 9.30am - 5pm Location: Embankment Job Purpose/ Role The role is within the Personal Independence team which is part of the UK Independence & Ethics team within Compliance. The department's role is to support the partners and staff within PwC through the provision of policy and guidance to the firm in respect of a number of regulatory areas and this team focuses on those regulations relating to personal independence. Duties Responsibility for managing the emails received in to the 'Checkpoint support' email database and ensuring that all emails are actioned within the agreed SLA Accurately updating PwC partner investment transactions on to the Independence Checkpoint System. Drafting timely and accurate confirmations to go to the relevant partner/broker for all updates made to their portfolio Assisting with the review and analysis of various Checkpoint back office reports (for example requests for information/empty portfolio management) and communicating with the practice to confirm the actions they need to take. Review of the unidentified securities held on the system to relink them to alternative securities. Responsibility for the update of the work allocations spreadsheet on a daily basis. Reporting team metrics as requested. Various other administrative duties as required by the team at the discretion of management. Skills/experience Personal effectiveness - highly motivated, pro-active individual. Ability to learn processes quickly and efficiently while understanding the operation and implications of error Attention to detail - ability to focus on the detail and be accurate with data entry, conscientious and, through self review, able to spot own mistakes and correcting them before finalisation. Communication skills - excellent verbal / written communication and interpersonal skills. Knowing when to flag issues and keeping management up to date Resourceful - must be able to use own initiative within confines of prescribed reporting guidelines. Organisation - excellent time management skills with experience of scheduling tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met. Ability to work under pressure meeting tight deadlines. Prepared to stay late or help others if required. Confidentiality will have access to highly sensitive information. Being aware of Data Protection protocols and applying internal data protection procedures. Academics Graduate with an Upper Second Class degree Intermediate IT skills in MS Excel - pivot tables, vlook ups desirable. Dates required Candidates must be available to start on 5 September 2016 for an initial 3 months. Potential for extension, subject to performance levels and business need.
