Here at the ICS Group we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a experience working as a Business Analyst or IT Project Manager to join our growing IT department based at our Broxbourne, Hertfordshire head offices. About the opportunity As the first point of contact for business stakeholders (Internal and external), the successful candidate will be the linking pin between our sales led operational divisions, the IT department and our outsourcing partners. You will be involved in assessing, changing/refining and implementing business processes and related information systems to continuously increase their effectiveness and make sure that they are properly aligned with the company’s strategic direction. Within this role, you will gain a detailed understanding of the processes, culture and priorities of the company divisions, to enable you to proactively propose and implement solutions which will improve efficiently, productivity and quality. Solutions could be based on IT system changes or development, but equally could be the implementation of existing functionality, providing quick wins to demanding customers Key Tasks: As a consultant you assess, change and define/refine business processes and related information systems to continuously increase their effectiveness and ensure they are properly aligned with the company’s strategic direction. The role will also require you to manage, plan, document and track the progress of specific IT projects, from conception and maintenance to delivery. Play a key-role in IT development and implementation projects (for example CRM, BI, Digital and Mobile Apps), manage transition from projects (new developments) to the support phase (train, run and maintain) Share best practice with your Business Analyst colleagues to ensure that successful solutions and processes are rolled out the widest possible user base. Capture and document detailed and complex user requirements, and communicate these clearly to business users, in-house IT professionals, and external partners Maintain a Product Backlog and be responsible for updating, adding and finalising items on the Backlog. Working closely with other Project Managers to rollout of new systems, and new versions of existing systems, to include data migration, system integration and training. Identifying and collating system improvements. Communication and documentation to users of new release features. Testing and implementing system upgrades. On-going product and supplier management. Maintenance and creation of support documentation. About You Approximately 2 to 3 years experience, ideally working in a sales led, high growth business Excellent written and verbal communication. A highly motivated and enthusiastic team member. Well organised, and familiar with Project Management Methodologies Product and Supplier management. Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, such as Agile or Prince2. Experience in the Recruitment/Staffing sector is desirable but not essential. UK travel is involved It is desirable that the ideal candidate is a graduate in the Information Technology or Business fields Why work for ICS?
