I have now been engaged exclusively by my client based in Goole, who are currently looking to recruit a high calibre and proven, Quality Assurance Team Leader due to a large buyout operation. This change comes with great positively and excellent future career opportunities with a leading Vehicle Conversion company who are one of the leading vehicle converters in the UK. Client Details Based in Goole just off the M62 my client are based on a 6 acres site housing a purpose built 60,000 sq ft manufacturing facility. The company currently employ approximately 200 people and are focused on their continual training and development. They are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Team Leader. Description Responsible and accountable for the Quality & Assurance of the integrated management systems ISO 9001, 14001, 18001, TS 16949 and the reporting and development of the Health & Safety Officer and the Environmental & Compliance Officer. The Quality of Health, Safety, Environmental, Compliance support services across the business model is of strategic importance with the continuous improvement of these being the primary focus of the QA Team Leader. Principle Accountability's: Implement methods to prevent of incidents/defects in products/services. Improvement of problems across the services of the business model. Verification of the Quality of health, safety, environmental, compliance. Ensure the continuous control of all QHSE records across the business. Validation of production techniques and their effect on QHSE. Perform physical and visual examinations of Supplier products/services. Resolve unacceptable QHSE incidents/escapes across the business. Perform QHSE audits to an agreed schedule. Ensure that QHSE services are fit for purpose and eliminate mistakes. Drive corrective actions and preventive actions across QHSE. Achieve overall certification method and approval to 9001/14001/18001/16949 Maintain integrated constituent parts of the QHSE service and compliance. Support to 3rd Party Inspections, Audits and CoP is a pre-requisite of the role. Identify and implement Improvement Opportunity Kaizens in the Value Stream (Two Kaizen Opportunities per Month is the expectation) Profile Good working knowledge and experience of TQM concepts. Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles. Health, Safety & Environmental legislation & regulations. Good level of IT literacy including Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
