Senior Landscape Architect
Senior Landscape Architect £28-35k benefits Basingstoke My client are looking for an experienced landscape architect to join our established team in Basingstoke. You will be working alongside their UK-wide team of around 40 landscape architects and arboriculturists, working as part of a broad multi-disciplinary practice including planning, the full range of environmental disciplines and engineering. Within the role you will be responsible for project management, report writing, design and construction detail drawing production, landscape contract administration as well as client liaison, assisting more junior staff and working to budgets and programmes. The team are currently working on a variety of projects including; River corridor landscape management Motorway and other major road route upgrades Landscape and visual impact assessment of major mixed-use redevelopments, major residential schemes and power projects Townscape and visual impact assessment of tall buildings and major infrastructure projects in London Heritage and character assessments for Neighbourhood Plans Regeneration of historic parks Green Infrastructure strategy for new settlement Applicants should ideally have good all round landscape experience to enable them to work on a variety of projects including design and implementation, landscape management, landscape and visual impact assessment (LVIA), townscape and visual impact assessment (TVIA) and studies such as green infrastructure (GI), Green Belt, and character assessments. To be successful in this role we're looking for candidates with the following: BA or BSc in landscape architecture, landscape management, or a related subject. Previous experience in a similar role gained from either the public sector or private practice. Fully proficient with industry standard software, including AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud. Good understanding of the English planning system. Excellent report writing skills. Full driving licence. Qualifications BA or BSc in landscape architecture, landscape management, or a related subject. Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards chartership on the P2C route. Masters in landscape or environment related subject. Working knowledge of GIS. Working knowledge of Revit and Rhino.
