Our clienthas a unique opportunity available for an Agricultural Specialist in Training to join the team in Bideford, Devon. The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week which may include working alternate weekends and some bank holidays. They are offering the Agricultural Specialist in Training a competitive salary plus benefits. Specialist advice is on hand for account customers from their experienced Sales and Advisory Teams who work together to provide knowledge and expertise, be it for livestock feeds and husbandry, arable, fuel, LPG, and amenity products. In all aspects of their business they aim to deliver a personal service, share their knowledge and expertise whilst looking to the latest products and innovations – to shape a future as vibrant as their 100 year heritage. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Agricultural candidate to work at their Bideford store. What are the responsibilities of the Agricultural Specialist in Training? Reporting to the Store Manager, you will provide an excellent standard of customer service and act as an ambassador within the store for your department. You will monitor competitor activity and product developments, and develop and manage relevant in-store campaigns and agricultural events and promotions to increase revenue and profitability. You will assist the Store Manager to ensure compliance with store policies and procedures, including the AMTRA code of practice, as well as monitoring stock availability and merchandising displays. On appointment, you will embark on their in-house training programme to become AMTRA qualified which will allow you to advise on and sell animal medications.
