SQL Developer Salary up to £33,000 per annum plus 3% flexible benefits on target bonus of 5% contributory pension THE ROLE A rare and exciting opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. We are looking for a SQL Developer to provide development of new and existing, in-house, applications. Working closely with Development Team Leader the successful candidate will undertake various development projects and ensure that these are implemented to agreed timescales. They will also use their expertise to develop and update database solutions providing support to current business systems. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring that development standards and conventions are adhered to throughout all projects and all requests are dealt with promptly, and prioritised where necessary. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential o Knowledge of developing and supporting SQL Server based solutions (SQL 2008- 2012) o Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) o Relational database design - experience of developing logical and physical schema designs o SQL Server Programming skills (t-sql, creating stored procedures, views, functions, etc) o Problem solving skills within the database solution o Experience with working with large data sets o Good interpersonal communication skills Desirable o Experience of working on high availability/high volume systems o Scrum/Agile Methodologies QUALIFICATIONS • Microsoft Certification or studying towards certification (Desirable).
