We are currently looking for an eager Junior Sous Chef for to join the kitchen at a luxury hotel in Oxfordshire. The hotel is part of a small group of 9 high end hotels that spread across the Cotswolds providing all guests with a luxury experience. The hotel has a bar area, along with their 3 AA Rosette restaurant serving food to both areas. Featuring 17 unique en-suite bedrooms, they are busy with weddings and events all year round. As a Junior Sous Chef it will be your responsibility to assist both the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen. This is a full time role with an immediate start. The Role: Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef Assist in the training of junior staff Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment Helping to create popular seasonal menus The Candidate: Previous experience working at minimum CDP level in a Rosette kitchen Competent and level headed Willing to learn new techniques and skills Passion for fresh, local meat and produce Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen Benefits: Attractive salary Staff discount for overnight stays within the hotel chain 25% off all food purchases Immediate start Salary £22,000 - £24,000 Tips All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
