Our charity sector client is currently recruiting a Finance Manager. The role will cover financial management, analysis and reporting and involves working closely with the senior leadership team in a small and friendly organisation who are doing some excellent, worthwhile work across the country. Finance Manager Responsibilities: Managing all finance procedures including compliance with SORP Timely preparation of monthly management accounts Preparing and presenting forecasting and analysis information to senior management Developing budgets, business plans and project costings Manage payroll and pensions processes, including liaising with HMRC Prepare and submit VAT returns Work with the business to implement and maintain new financial processes and systems This is an excellent opportunity to work with a fantastic organisation with a great ethos. Applicants for the position of Finance Manager should have previous experience in a similar role, ideally with a broader remit than just accounting and payroll; additional experience across other business areas such as HR and Health & Safety would also be advantageous.
