My client who is headquartered in Geneva is a market leading software provider urgently requires a Data Solutions Architect. This client's core banking platform has been the best selling solution on the market for 15 yrs, used by over 600 financial institutions. Partnering with banks and other financial institutions to transform their businesses and stay ahead of a changing marketplace. They work with over 2,000 firms across the globe, including 38 of the top 50 banks.

You will join the Technology Data Framework product team. Reporting to the Product Manager, as the Data Solution Architect you will be enhancing and creating new data functionality of this clients Data Framework products. The Data Solution Architect will be responsible for the design and extension of data-centric products within the Data Framework. Works with internal product team members, architecture functions, business analysts, other business units and clients. The Data Solution Architect will extend and build data products supporting the core banking solutions, interfacing with the analytics and reporting business unit focused around data extraction access and value, as part of the existing Data Framework

The Data Solutions Architect must have as much of the following as possible; at least five years of data solution experience, including architecture, design and build. Mastery of data warehouse and ETL design solutions, including experience in Banking or Financial Services. At least three years of development experience with data migration and ETL, including support of processes that run on that platform in a production environment. At least 3-5 years of experience using relational database technology. Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle is preferred. DB2 experience a plus. IMPORTANTLY at least 2-3 years Enterprise JAVA solution architecture experience. Java development experience is essential. Experience with data modeling (Entity-Relationship diagrams), including normalized and dimensional models, Experience with common data warehouse architectures such Kimball, Inmon, Experience with different data warehouse/data mart types, supporting historical, strategic and operational usage. Other preferable although not essential skills would be; Database administrator or database developer experience a plus, Experience with reporting tools a plus, Experience with implementation of Data Governance and Data Management methodologies a plus, Process experience in requirements management, change management, and software configuration management a plus.
