We're Recruiting for a Key Account Manager Working in a Field Based Role ,the role will require extensive travel to cover the midlands and south, with occasional visits to our Telford Site. If you have experience in managing Key accounts within a FMCG business we would love to hear from you. Purpose: Deliver Company Budgeted Volume and Profit targets for given Customer Account/s. Deliver market leading and winning customer relationship management. Collaborate with other departments to develop effective service levels. Manage projects and deliver them within the agreed time lines Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of key commercial targets as defined by the annual budget process (volume, DB1 and cost savings). Support your line manager to help shape the commercial strategy (OGSM) and delivery of the functional goals. Negotiation and delivery of annual business plans (PoPs/JBP's) with key customers. Development of "Longer Term" growth plans (out-with annual PoPs/JBP's) with Key Customers to win profitably. Build and maintain winning customer relationships Demonstrate ability to operate with "high performance team" principles and engage with appropriate training for personnel development. Take responsibility to manage and oversee cross functional customer projects / allocated internal projects - start to finish. Manage the SOP volume and financial forecast within company targets Demonstrate a full understanding of key profitability measures for customers - supporting monthly Business reviews with required detail. Maintain and administer of contracts within remit Your challenge Adaptability to & understanding of customer in order to build strong customer relationships, whilst operating in the business interest Presentation of attractive new & current product offerings without compromising price Agreement to business & promotional business plans Multi-tasking within a pressurized sales environment Key skills & experience Communication & Influencing skills Time Management & Organization Skills PC literate (Excel & Power-point) Accuracy, Selling & Negotiation Skills Analytical Skills, Presentation Skills Account Management experience min 2 years, knowledge of contract and tender process KPIs Budget Targets - Volume / Profit Achieving DB1 target Management of account debt and administration Forecast Accuracy Personal Qualities Market Share High Attention to Detail High Self Motivation & Drive Ability to operate under pressure & work to tight deadlines Tenacious Strong team player Flexible Adaptable Confident. Professional Qualifications Must have at least 2 years in a key account Management in FMCG. Ideally of graduate calibre with a minimum of A level qualifications or work experience equivalent Full UK driving license The Role is Permanent, Working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday.
