The Team and Role You will provide optimal value to the business by ultimately providing the best solution ownership to Managed Services bids and articulating the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical audiences You will develop additional revenue and services pipeline as a result of engagements with customers and support the Sales Team by providing a single interface from sales and customers to the Advanced 365 Operations department The Requirements You will: Be responsible for building and costing the technical elements of the service Support on costing the service elements of managed services solutions which include the resource based elements of the services. For complex solutions you will work with a Service Architect Have the ability to work as technology specialist, understand network infrastructure and system characteristics, have vision of customer needs and be able to identify creative solutions Attend meetings with Clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution Creation of Transition approach, associated project plans and resource costs. Prepare and review commercial costs to send through to sales team Proof of concept creation Understand and resolve complex technical, strategic and business issues Attend customer briefings and presentations Assist with framework accreditations the company wishes to achieve Interact with customer to identify add-on sales opportunities, which creates sustainable value and growth to customer and Advanced We would like you to have: Pre-sales experience Customer-facing consulting/advisory pre-sales experience The Solution Architect must have experience on multiple hardware and software environments and be comfortable with complex heterogeneous systems environments Should have experience across multiple industries and in several disciplines Expertise/mastery across a variety of hardware platforms including distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices Experience in service transition, which includes the production of transition project plans including resource costs Proven capability in delivering winning, multi-million pound product or services opportunities Excellent knowledge of the IT industry - solution design, large complex projects, services, managed services, consultancy and operational delivery Strong commercial knowledge and broad commercial experience Must be comfortable working at CEO/Director Level (internal and external) Fully conversant with the competitive market Good commercial understanding Solid understanding of internal governance procedures Consistent demonstration of having exceeded quotas Proven track record of solving complex problems Highly motivated with the successful ability to manage time and workload Technical skills and ease with software systems Good understanding and experience of an ITIL based delivery model We’re Advanced Join a business that embraces innovation, gives you the scope to seize every opportunity and will help get you where you want to go.
