Business Analyst - WMS Warehouse Management Software Circa 40k base, Healthcare and Benefits Package. Based North East The Company You will be joining a boutique WMS provider, who deliver projects in the UK, Europe and Asia. My client offers all the cornerstones Warehouse Management Software including Locating, Sequence Picking, Capacity, Restriction Monitoring, Planning and Staffing. For over than 20 years they have been helping more than 500 companies achieve new levels of service excellence and execution. Their solutions offer the widest breathe of one functionality in the market and are constantly blazing innovation trails in the WMS space. The Role To progress identified product changesfrom inception to delivery, providing ownership and taking responsibility for both design and the communications between stakeholders and the development team, whilst ensuring scope, timescale and quality are adhered to. Activities • Work with stakeholders, third parties and internal personnel to gather and document requirements for identified product changes. • Recommend and scope a solution to deliver an identified product change, proposing the features, functions and capabilities that must be delivered to meet the business requirement and highlighting those that have been considered and precluded. • Generate or arrange high level estimate for the development of a scoped solution so that the value of an identified product change can be assessed by the stakeholders. • Work with developers and/or partners in an agile environment to prototype a scoped solution and present a simple working version that can be used to evaluate and refine the high level estimate into a firm statement of work. • Progress prototype through the development cycle taking responsibility for the overall design of a scoped solution, liaising between the stakeholders, development and testing teams to ensure adherence to scope, timescale, standards and quality. • Document the final developed solution in the required format, ensuring end user and internal support team documentation is up to date and observes the standards expected. • Ensure an effective handover to customer support, pre-sales and implementation consultants takes place for all new developed solutions to ensure the whole team are up to date with the available functionality. • Provide fault analysis, and guidance to customer support, pre-sales and implementation consultants for all new developed solutions during the sales and implementation cycles ensuring that critical faults are assessed and progressed within agreed timescales. • Ensure that all timesheet and billing activity is completed accurately. • To take additional responsibilities that from time to time arise, as designated by the Product Manager. • To take initiative in circumstances that are in the interest of the Company. • Endeavour to champion the values of the company at all times, both internally and externally, while complying with the Business Management System and the Staff Handbook.
