Job Title: IT Project Manager Location: County Durham Salary: Up to £40k (maybe more for an exceptional candidate) Our client is a large and growing multi-national next generation technology company in the North East. They work with some the world’s most prestige brands on a range of exciting projects using leading technologies and are looking for a project manager to join their team. As a key member of the project management team, you will work closely with one of or prestige clients to ensure that projects run smoothly and deadlines are consistently met; therefore your ability to communicate effectively is vital. Working alongside technical teams and Business Analysts, as well as external clients, you will take ownership over active projects. This will involve providing support where necessary to users and dealing with stakeholders in all parts of the business. Working amongst teams of highly talented creative and technical people, the Project Lead will be responsible for getting the Iteration 0 phase up & running and managing its progress. The service will be expected to carry out the following tasks and activities in conjunction with the project team. The Role Creation and management of a project plan for Iteration 0. Arrangement and organization of Team training (agile, technology, tooling, etc) Establish tooling – JIRA Completion of ‘held over’ Solution Design tasks Low level design work/specifications Low level strategies and working processes (environment, testing, data provision/sourcing) Service identification Infrastructure requirements finalised & requests processed Initial environments provision and setup Stage 1 bidding UX & other low level design work Setup of VC and comms facilities Setup data sharing methods Any POCs required (AngularJS, Entrepreneur app security, etc) System accesses and licence procurement Successful management of a team to ensure requirements are fulfilled The Skills: Excellent project planning and coordination skills, with the ability to create robust project plans, write up reports, and subsequently deliver the plan successfully and to a high standard. A strong understanding of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall etc) Tech savvy, as a creative and digital company it is essential that you have an interest in technology and have the ability to become familiar with a range of technical jargon.
