Job Title: Pensions Consultant Project Lead / Senior Consultant Location: London or Guildford; Client Sites Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 The company is one of the UK's leading independent consulting firms that specialises in Pensions, Systems and Data. This role will include project, client, and service management and delivery incorporating data analysis, data mapping and migration, and calculations and experience of pensions is essential. Key Responsibilities: Project delivery / management - managing client delivery to Project Initiation Document (PID) requirements Client management - managing client expectations and developing relationships Resource management - optimising delivery Specialist technical resource - including data analysis, calculation specification, ad hoc consulting Team / people management (where applicable) - ensuring staff and teams remain focused on objectives, delivery and strategies whilst maintaining morale Business assurance (BA) - ensuring quality of product against ITM and client requirements Creating work packages and ensuring this is communicated to and understood by team members allocated to the project Maintaining existing relationships with clients Acting as Consultant to our clients Proactively seeking resolution of any client issues Identifying and developing new service opportunities and income streams Supporting directors in new business and client development pitches and proposals Leading client presentations Sharing personal knowledge and skills to support the development of team members Ensuring the team is motivated and focused to deliver on expectations of clients through frequent and meaningful communication Ensuring there is a sufficient level of skill available at all times by proactively planning training and cross-training activities to retain flexibility Ensuring ISO 9001 processes are followed Ensuring ISO 27001 processes are followed Ensuring AAF processes are followed Ensuring own work is peer reviewed Peer reviewing outputs from team members Identifying improvements and efficiencies with current BA processes Technical Skills: Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel Pensions knowledge - legislation, terminology, calculations Data analysis techniques and processes Familiar with project management methodologies High-level knowledge of SQL desirable Please click the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.
