Offers a Competitive Salary Reporting to: Head of Commercial Location: Chatteris, however you maybe required to travel to other locations based on business needs. Hours of work 40 hours working Monday to Friday, maybe required to work weekends and additional hours to meet the business needs, particularly at peak trading periods. Purpose of the role To work in partnership with the Senior Management Team and Directors and specifically:- · Work cross functionally with all internal and external departments · Communicate daily with the customer and manage a long term positive relationships whilst meeting the customer requirements Critical Success Factors · Evidence of managing and delivering customer expectations efficiently · Communicate effectively customer requirements cross functionally · Deliver the Company budgets including sales and margin Key Result Areas Stakeholders and Customers · Work alongside Heads of Department and Directors to keep them informed on the Commercial Company strategy · Work in collaboration with all Departments to ensure effective implementation and delivery of the budget · Communicate daily with customers · Work with HR Team to promote development and address people relations · Liaise with external service providers, including wider customer teams Team Management · Working with all levels across the Company · Manage direct reports (where applicable) Key Performance Indicators (“KPI’s”) · Accountability for the provision of KPI Measures (Sales, Margin and Service). · Ensure that the site meets its requirements towards the Scorecard and KPI Systems with periodic review and development of activities that support the M&S scorecard and ultimately the achievement of Gold by 2018. Core Business Responsibilities Customer Communication · Daily contact with the customers including the Buyer/Product Developer/technologist and Supply Chain Manager. · Managing the implementation of the 5 year customer plan. · Responding to all ad-hoc requests from customers. · Manage customer and grower visits Sales Forecasting · Setting and communicating weekly and monthly sales forecasts. · Communicating changes which take place to the product range, daily orders and pricing and product details. Range Presentations and launching new products · Responsible for overseeing range presentations via the gate process · Agree prices for product launches. Problem Solving · Resolving daily issues which may affect our service level Working in collaboration with departments · Working in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to provide up to date Marketing Insight and Market performance. · Work in collaboration with NPD developing new products. · Working with the Procurement Team to identify new opportunities and cost future products. · Working alongside the Technical Team to develop and launch new varieties and ensure product specifications are correct. · Effectively communicate with the Packaging and Planning Team to ensure forecasts are up to date and accurate. Managing Peak · Preparing and implementing Peak Planning for Christmas / Valentines, Mothers’ Day and Easter.
