Up to £28,000 (pro rata) A well established, highly successful organisation (always pays a bonus) has a permanent HR Officer /Payroll position. This is a stand alone role where HR is the hub of the business and supported by senior management. We are looking for a well rounded HR generalist with Payroll experience. You will join a friendly, close-knit team, be fully hands-on, have autonomy in all areas of HR and enjoy a busy and varied working day. Your duties will include providing HR advice to key stakeholders and line management, updating policies and procedures, managing disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence and capability, assisting hiring managers with recruitment . Upskilling managers and assisting with HR projects are also key to the role. Responsibilities include full responsibility for processing weekly, four weekly and monthly payrolls on Sage, handling year end and complying with auto enrolment. Either part/fully CIPD qualified/working towards the qualification, you will have all round HR generalist experience, be confident in your knowledge of employment law and its application and have experience of running a Payroll. A hands-on approach, willingness to be totally involved in the business, use your initiative and a 'can do' mindset will be well rewarded. You will also have the confidence to deal with senior management. You will have a high level of proficiency in Excel and Microsoft packages. This job was originally posted as
