Product Safety and Reliability Lead - A global clean power systems organisation is looking to recruit a 1st class Product Safety and Reliability Engineer. The purpose of this role is ensuring ultimate success of the client's product portfolio through design, test, manufacture, deployment and operation. Product Safety and Reliability Lead - Key Responsibilities - Product safety assurance strategy throughout full life-cycle of product development. - Product compliance to regulatory and legislative requirements. - Product compliance with reliability and maintainability (RAM) design aims. - FRACAS management. - Co-ordinate cross functional teams and external bodies to support all required activities - Delivery of the product safety case Product Safety and Reliability Lead - Skills and Experience - Qualifications in an Engineering related discipline or an equivalent professional qualification supplemented with an appropriate level of experience. - Post-graduate qualifications in quality or safety/RAMS engineering. - Minimum 3 years quality experience in a safety, RAM or dependability type role, preferably in a high technology environment. - Proven experience in carrying out safety analysis and reporting findings. - Good first-hand experience of safety related tools and techniques such as HAZID/SWIFT, FMEA, FTA.
