Principal Bridge Engineer Blackburn and Manchester Ref MR10323 Salary up to £50,000 ATTRACTIVE BENEFITS Our client, a leading, globally recognised, multidisciplinary consultancy are actively looking to recruit a Principal Bridge Engineer to accelerate and achieve ambitious plans for future growth in the well-established Blackburn and Manchester Bridges teams. As an experienced Principal Bridge Engineer , you will be involved in a range of small to large bridge projects which are industry and publicly high profile. This role will be challenging, demanding and varied and will offer fantastic opportunities for skill set and career development. You will be required to work autonomously and within a growing team carrying out bridge feasibility works, design, assessment and strengthening depending upon project requirements. In order to be considered for this Principal Bridge Engineer role you will Be experienced and have a personal interest in bridge engineering which will be utilised in a broad range of engineering projects. Have experience of a range of bridge engineering solutions CEng, MICE or similar. Competency with both highway agency (HA) and network rail (NR) design standards. Experience of working in UK bridge engineering and involvement in the full project lifecycle, including budget/finance control. Proven team leading experience, with the ability to lead and mentor graduates. Experience working in or with a multi-disciplinary design consultancy. A strong technical focus. Conversant with LUSAS or MIDAS. Capability to work to deadlines and work autonomously when required.
