Heavy Engineering Sales Manager - £45,000 £6,000 Car Benefits Employment Solutions are pleased to be exclusively representing a market leading client in relation to their searches to add a top class Sales Manager to their management team. Ideally you will have experience in managing a small technical sales team within a Heavy Engineering environment. Responsible for the total business brought into the firm, you will be required to: Manage an existing client database as well as win new client business Produce / approve quotations using in-house software and from technical drawings / customer specifications - providing fully costed breakdowns and the process route. Manage a small team of Technical Sales Engineers - assisting with their technical knowledge and answering any questions Be from a technical Heavy Engineering industry background Be involved with Marketing, client relationship management, Have experience of tender processes. Compile and manage monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts Look at wider ranging issues such as contractual obligations, terms and conditions of sale and supply, packaging, delivery and legislative requirements. Ensure all quotes and opportunities are logged, allowing for subsequent follow up activity Processing regular orders from £20 K through to £500 K as well as updating and working to pricing matrixes and costings Must be strong with Microsoft Office and in particular the use of spreadsheets for the analysis of sales data Grow the company order pipeline from c. £600 K per month - to £1.2 M per month Attending client meetings and presentations, (both UK and throughout Europe).
