Telephony Technician – CISCO Experienced I am currently recruiting for CISCO Experience Telephony Technician to work for my client based in Bradford on a permanent basis. The Telephony Technician duties include: Highly technical this individual will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering IP telephony systems for Amtrust Europe. Based In the Bradford offices to provide cover for a busy call centre, this individual will work closely with the Infrastructure teams based in Leeds, London and Cleveland USA. Experienced in Cisco Contact Centre, and Cisco UC cluster environments. The successful applicant will be required to design/architect IP telephony solutions; develop appropriate call routing; test the solution; and ensure appropriate documentation is in place so that the solution can be supported and maintained going forward. This individual will also be responsible for supporting the call centre, and developing further the capabilities in offices around the Amtrust organisation, upgrading Cisco telephony systems, including the establishment of mutual resilience between Leeds and London offices/telephony systems. Principle Responsibilities · Telephony Management and Development · Design and architect telephony solutions specifically to meet the changing needs of a busy call centre that includes: 80 inbound agents; 15-20 outbound sales agents; call recording; PCI/DSS credit card handling; workforce management; statistical reporting; home-workers. · To work closely with business sponsors to prototype solutions in order to confirm requirements and deliver benefits at the earliest opportunity · Design, implement, support and maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems including but not limited to CUCM, CUC, Unity, UCCX, CUPS, VG, CUBE, CER, CVP Skills & Attributes · Design, implement, support and maintain Cisco Unified Communications systems including but not limited to CUCM, CUC, Unity, UCCX, CUPS, VG, CUBE, CER, CVP · Ability to work weekends and off hours as necessary to meet customer requirements · Willingness to travel as needed · Ability to Design & Architect call centre telephony solutions; knowledge of industry standard architectures and how these can be utilised · Strong team player who is able to work quickly & accurately across different technologies to maximise team value Qualifications & Experience · IT Degree or equivalent · Minimum of 7 years IT experience in Cisco telephony · Evidence of working directly with a customer to define, develop and implement telephony solutions that provided significant business benefit High-end experience in PBX and/or Call Center systems engineering experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline: equivalent experience is acceptable.
