As a member of the programme, employees will take the role of Insurance Consultant. Individuals will be responsible for providing a professional service to our customers by effectively handling calls whilst focusing on targets to maximise revenue generation. As a management trainee you will attend weekly training to study towards a globally recognised management qualification from the ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management). The duration of the programme will be 24 months, throughout which you will have access to award winning training and workplace mentors to support your development. On completion of the programme, you will be supported through a selection process with a view to obtaining a management role within our growing business. Accountabilities and Main Responsibilities of Job - Handle all outbound calls to maximise transfer opportunities through professional communication and negotiation skills Handle all inbound calls and ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a professional and positive manner Handle all calls within the requirements laid down for the call monitoring/Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) results Contribute to the achievement of individual, team and department targets Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with all colleagues and customers, promoting a professional business image Develop and maintain a competent level of technical, product and system knowledge Attend company training programmes to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills Understand and apply all legal, regulatory and information security requirements Commit to own personal development Attend workshops and complete independent study to obtain the ILM qualification Essential At least a 2:2 Degree or equivalent Strong study skills Desirable Experience of working in a call centre environment Previous insurance experience Results and target orientated Previous experience in a customer relations position - either face to face or by telephone Degree in Business or other related subjects Able to travel to both of our sites (Andover and Swindon) This is temp to perm role- 12 weeks at £8.00 per hour and after a successful probation you will receive a salary of £18,000 You will be required to work a 40-hour shift pattern within the below operating hours Business Working Hours: Monda y to Friday: 8am - 9pm Saturday: 9am - 9pm Sunday: 9am - 8pm This job was originally posted as
