Job Title: Sales Analyst (Excel Expert) Salary: £120 - 130 a day (dependant on experience, £31- 33,5K pa equivalent) Type: Temporary ongoing role, possibility to go permanent, ASAP start Location: Feltham, Middlesex Skills: Advanced Excel (Advanced formulas e.g. nested formulas, Pivot tables and power pivots, linking databases together using external data links) This role is for a well known FTSE100 blue chip company who are looking for an Excel Expert to analyse sales data. Responsibilities: • To act as an Expert for the forecasting system (SAP BI, Excel) and an in-house sales intelligence software • Provide weekly/monthly/qtr/yearly sales reports to support the S&OP process. • Manage the sales operations account tracking process - Actual versus Forecast results, target tracking, NPD Execution standards, deduction management - highlighting concerns and recommending areas for improvement • Use data to provide trend analysis and/or Insight for areas of improvement or focus. • Produce any ad-hoc report analysis to investigate potential availability issues • Performance tracking and advising on new or current initiatives. • Maintenance of EPOS and ISP loads • To support Sales Ops Controller in project management activities, and day to day sales operations • Work with the Demand Planning, Sales, & Customer Operations to address availability issues • To provide support in presentation development The Person: • Advanced Excel is a must have (Advanced formulas e.g. nested formulas, Pivot tables and power pivots, linking databases together using external data links) • Graduate level with strong Analytical capabilities or previous experience to quickly interpret the data and make recommendations for improvement • Ms Access , Database management and macros are desirable but not a must have • Experience in a fast paced FMCG environment preferable • Great attention to detail • A strong collaborator and communicator able to work across different functions • Ability to manage several stakeholders giving great levels of customer service To be a team player - flexibility is essential • Successful Applicants will be asked to complete MS Excel test prior to interview If your application is successful, you will be contacted within 7 days.
