specialist UK based Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their established Civil Engineering Team based in Harrogate. It is essential that applicants have a BEng and/or MEng and/or FdSc and/or PhD in Civil Engineering or Hydrology and have approximately 1 years experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk, Sewerage, Pipeline and Drainage Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies or Private Sector Clients. It is also essential for applicants to have experience completing or reviewing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategy or detailed SuDS design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage. You are also required to have a keen interest in drainage engineering and detailed design. This exciting role will offer you the opportunity to join a team of specialist Civil Engineers based in Harrogate. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work on Flood Risk, Surface Water, SuDS and Civil Engineering Projects for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Developments for Housing Developers, Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies. As an Assistant Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Drainage Strategy and detailed SuDS Design using Microdrainage and AutoCAD.
