MI and Insight Analyst Salary up to £33K (dependent on experience) plus benefits Location: Wiltshire - Commutable from Bath, Somerset, Bristol, Avon and Gloucester. As MI and Insight Analyst, you will be part of the Insight team, within the Transformation function, reporting to the MI and Insight Manager. Working as MI and Insight Analyst you will be responsible for providing analytical and reporting services to the business including corporate key performance indicators, strategic operations analysis, identifying performance trends and interpreting data. This role will involve working collaboratively with other analysts within the Insight team, as well as a variety of people across the company. Key Responsibilities Support the MI and Insight Manager by developing reporting processes and producing regular and ad-hoc management information reports. Support the development and delivery of a suite of corporate key performance. indicators to be regularly reported to the Board, Executive and wider business. Carrying out transition of reporting from current processes to future state solutions. Gathering reporting requirements from operational managers and/or business users, working with wider Transformation team to deliver the data needed to meet the requirements. Using appropriate statistical modelling techniques to provide high quality and thorough analysis of data and related processes to ensure business needs are continually anticipated and met. Maintain and develop business intelligence processes and assist in the creation of new processes. About You Passionate about using data to drive business growth. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills; able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels and in a variety of formats. Flexible and able to work alone or as part of a team. Able to work effectively under pressure. Self-motivated, energetic and driven; focused on delivering results and continuous improvement. Strong attention to detail. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential Proven experience in an analytical role. Advanced MS Excel skills, SQL and experience of querying databases. The ability to consolidate and interpret data to derive meaningful business insights. Proven experience in data mining, collation and dashboard creation. Commercially astute - capable of identifying significant business issues and drivers; applying appropriate analysis techniques and interpreting the results produced. Experience of managing analysis projects.
