Elevation HR are currently recruiting for an Interim HR Manager (c9 months) for my client based in Doncaster. The role is working for an established charity and due to a period of maternity leave is looking to recruit an experienced HR Manager to continue the HR direction of the business. Working closely with the senior management team this is a highly proactive HR role which requires someone with a strong 'can do' attitude and willingness to make a difference. Whilst the role will involve all the usual day to day generalist HR activities providing advice and guidance to managers on a local and national basis, the role will also ensure the business is compliant with all related employment law as well as ensuring the HR priorities are aligned to the business goals. Supported by a HR Advisor, with a company headcount of c300 the role will be responsible for all areas of HR including recruitment, employee relations, restructures, learning and development and performance management. There will also be responsibility for governance, risk and compliance. More importantly the successful candidate should demonstrate a strong aptitude for engagement, talent management, succession planning and retention to ensure employees and their performance is maximised. The role will work with a diverse and interesting work force, based in Doncaster and the wider UK so some travel will be expected. You should be confident and credible to deal with all levels of staff and management with the ability to work autonomously and lead the HR agenda.
